A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

picture of Scott Bradley

I originally studied languages at university, focusing on German as a foreign language, the history of the English language, and English creative writing. In 2019, I moved to Germany, immersing myself in the language and culture until I reached fluency. Since then, I’ve worked as both a private English teacher and a carer, roles that have allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life. But beyond language and teaching, my time in Germany led me to discover something unexpected—a deep passion for art.

My artwork is a reflection of my love for nature. I primarily create oil paintings, often depicting landscapes, trees, and vibrant natural scenes. Colour plays a crucial role in my work, as I aim to bring life and energy to my paintings through vivid hues. Alongside oil painting, I also enjoy sketching portraits, capturing the essence of people through expressive lines and shading. Feel free to explore my gallery, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask...

In 2023, I embarked on yet another creative journey—teaching myself how to code. Through self-study, I developed skills in front-end web development, which led me to build this very website. Coding has given me a new way to express creativity, blending design, structure, and functionality into something tangible. Whether through painting or programming, I am constantly learning, evolving, and finding new ways to bring my ideas to life.
